The Internal Complaint Committee of Meenakshi Ammal Dental College organized an orientation program for first-year MDS students on August 9, 2024. Dr. Priya presented a video presentation on the committee’s role, functions, and procedures. The program aimed to educate students about sexual harassment and workplace issues. were definitions and types of sexual harassment, legal framework and policies, role and responsibilities of the Internal Complaint Committee, procedure for filing complaints, confidentiality, and privacy.
The program successfully educated first-year MDS students about the Internal Complaint Committee’s role and procedures, creating awareness about sexual harassment and workplace issues.
