The Faculty of Physiotherapy organized a comprehensive consultancy training program titled “Virtual Reality for Rehabilitation” on March 26, 2024. Dr. Raja Anbarasu, Head of Clinicals at RewinHealth in Chennai, served as the resource person for the event. This program aimed to delve into the innovative applications of virtual reality within the realm of rehabilitation. A total of 14 faculties and 15 post-graduate students from the Faculty of Physiotherapy actively participated in the program, benefiting immensely from Dr. Anbarasu’s expertise and insights. The training sessions provided a valuable platform for attendees to grasp the potential of virtual reality technologies in enhancing rehabilitation practices. Participants gained practical knowledge and valuable skills that are poised to significantly contribute to the advancement of rehabilitation methodologies in the field of physiotherapy. The event not only facilitated learning but also fostered collaboration and networking among professionals in the domain.
