Objective:
To create entrepreneurs with new ideas which can be transformed into products that serve the economic development of the self and the society.
Goals:
- To provide a platform for the exploration and display of hidden ideas.
- Encourage and train members who are interested in skill development and entrepreneurship.

- Collaboration with small and medium-sized businesses to deliver experiential learning.
Funding connect
- Innovation Voucher Programme by EDII-TN (https://www.editn.in/) (IVP A and IVP B)
Voucher A – Entry into Research
- Voucher-A shall be used for Innovation Potential Analysis prior to development of a new product or production process like a prototype
- Funding support: 80% of the total budget for approved activities, subject to a maximum of INR 2 lakhs for idea validation i.e techno commercial feasibility for implementation of new ideas as well as for development of technological and innovation road-map for the company
Voucher – B – Entry into market
- Voucher-B is to be used to promote existing or an early stage company in quickly accessing potential markets by developing an innovative commercial product
- Funding support: 50 % of the total budget for approved activities, subject to a maximum of INR 5 lakhs for implementation of product /process /business model innovation project.
Angel Investor
An angel investor is an individual who provides capital for a business start-up, in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity. The capital provided by Angel Investors may be a one-time investment, or it may fund money during the initial stage to support and carry the company through its early stages.
Venture Capitalist
- A venture capitalist (VC) is a private equity investor that provides capital to companies exhibiting high growth potential in exchange for an equity stake. This could be funding Startup ventures or supporting small companies that wish to expand but do not have access to equities markets.
- The typical venture capital investment occurs after an initial “seed funding” round. The first round of institutional venture capital to fund growth is called the Series A round.
