The 2nd Symposium on Oral Oncology & Workshop was successfully conducted on 4th April, 2025, at Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital, Maduravoyal, Chennai. The event brought together 99 participants from across India to delve into the latest research and practices in Oral Oncology. The symposium and workshop, organized by the Oral Oncology Unit of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery under the leadership of Dr. Manikandhan R. and organizing chairperson Dr. Shubhra Chauhan Aramanai, were enriched by the valuable insights shared by 11 distinguished guest speakers and 7 chairpersons.
The event was honored by the presence of Dr. S. Ramkumar, District Secretary of Rotary International, as the Chief Guest. The symposium featured evidence-based discussions on Oral Cancer, with experts such as Dr. Jatin P. Shah, Dr. Moni Abraham Kuriakose, Dr. Arvind Krishnamoorthy, and others sharing their valuable insights. The program also included 7 panelists who contributed to a rich exchange of knowledge on this critical topic. The event marked a significant step in advancing the understanding and treatment of oral cancer.
