The Consultancy Committee, MAHER, in collaboration with the Central Research Laboratory (CRL), conducted a three-day Consultancy Training Program from 21st to 23rd October, 2024, focusing on Recent Trends in Green Nanomaterials for Antimicrobial Applications and Diabetic Wound Healing. The program aimed to upskill internal faculty members with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in nanoscience technologies, enhancing research and consultancy capabilities across MAHER’s constituent colleges.
The event saw participation from 11 faculty members and scientists representing MMCHRI, MADCH, MFP, FAHS, and CRLs of MAHER’s institutions. The sessions were led by Dr. Tharani Munusamy, a scientist at CRL-MAHER and an expert in nanotechnology, who
provided hands-on training on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of nanomaterials for antimicrobial uses and diabetic wound care.
This program was conducted with the full support of MAHER’s management, reflecting the institution’s commitment to fostering research excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity and gave positive feedback on how the newly acquired skills would enhance their work. The trained faculty members emphasized that they could apply these techniques in their ongoing research,
consultancy services, and interdisciplinary collaborative projects.
This initiative highlights MAHER’s ongoing efforts to stay at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and innovation across its academic community.
