The Faculty of Yoga Science and therapy conducted the National Energy Conservation Day on 03.01.2024 at MAHER, K.K Nagar campus. In this regard competitions on Essay writing on the theme of “Challenges on Solar Energy Conservation” and debate on the theme of “Who is most responsible in Energy Conservation Individual or Government” were conducted on 29.12.2023 at faculty of Yoga Science and therapy, MAHER campus. Students from all the Faculties of MAHER campus participated in the competitions. A Special Guest lecture on the theme of “Emerging Trends on Energy Conservation in India” was arranged on 03.01.2024. The principal of FYST, Prof. Dr. V. Subbulakshmi welcomed the dignitaries and the participants. Honourable Vice Chancellor of MAHER, Prof. Dr. R. S. Neelakandan delivered a special address on the importance of energy conservation to the students. The chief guest Shri Suresh fondly known as Solar Suresh, Social Worker delivered a guest lecture with excellent concepts, methods and opportunities with his personal experiences, which motivated the students very much about energy resources and conservation. The event saw an active participation of 110 members including staff, students and research scholars of MAHER.
